The Bass Museum of Art’s monthly first Friday evening happy hour, “Beats After Sunset”. Enjoy complimentary beverages by Herradura Tequila, beats by DJs Oly and Darwin Castillo, and the museum’s newest project: “Erasey Page” by Miami-based artist Jillian Mayer, a newly commissioned web-based project that Mayer produced in collaboration with computer programmer and creative technologist Eric Shoenborn.

Members and basspass holders attend the event for free; non-members pay the $8 museum admission.

After party courtesy of Chalk Ping Pong and Billiards Lounge @ 1234 Washington Avenue from 11p.m. – 12 a.m.

We meet Nichole Carroll from Tyler Rose Swimwear who tells us about the nightmare of losing your bikinis at the airport. Keva of KevaJ Designs presented an tribal African dancers at the beginning of her show. Pooneh Mohazzabi from Jogo Beach had very cool metallic designs on her swimsuits. Key Biscayners Liza + Tara were there showing off how tropical cover-ups should be worn in this crazy summer heat. Thanks to Tara Ink for an amazing show with talented designers.
