Tigertail Presents Elliott Sharp: Avant Guitar with Fridamusiq

TIGERTAIL presents Elliott Sharp – American composer, multi-instrumentalist, producer and curator central to NYC’s avant-jazz and experimental rock music scenes for over 30 years. His collaborators have included pop singer Debbie Harry, Qawwali singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Kronos String Quartet, among others. Critics hail Sharp as one of American music’s lesser-known geniuses, a guitarist and composer who works both within and at the fringes of the new music scene. U of M’s Fridamusiq join Sharp to play his piece “Syndakit”.

This concert will take place in the intimate setting of the On Stage Black Box at the Miami Dade County Auditorium. The venue’s superior lighting and sound will heighten this musical experience.

Tickets are $50 VIP, $30 General Admission and $15 for Students, Seniors and Musicians.
