Fashionably Wednesdays at Plunge Gansevoort
Last week I went to Fashionably Wednesdays at the Plunge Rooftop of the Gansevoort Hotel. I had been seeing the flyers and invites on Facebook, but this time was special. Fevi Reyes Designs was going to be on display. So although I can easily walk there every week, last week was the first time I motivated and it was worth every drop of sweat that night.
I feel like gained some new fashion friends that are lovely, talented and sweet. I met up with Susan Merlo of Merlo Jewelry there. We both met for the first time in person Fevi Reyes and her friend Maria Lepe of Lepe Fashion. Maria is the head designer for her line and features the cutest dresses. They were sharing a display and although the night started hot and humid both girls were gracious and welcoming.
Yes, there were lots of great booths and displays around the fabulous rooftop pool that night. I probably could have done a better job of remembering. All I recall now is the cute blond girls that flew out from LA to sell LMFAO “I’m in Miami B****” shirts and accessories. Honestly, I was just so excited to be meeting Fevi and Maria I forgot all about the other booths. I definitely will be going back and pay more attention to the other designers.
